Summary: Evony Comparator does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything runs in your browser.

What is stored, and where

The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember a small number of UI preferences and the current comparison state. This data never leaves your device. It is readable only by this site.

• evony.lang — your chosen interface language (Hebrew or English).
• evony.theme — your chosen theme preference (light / dark / system).
• app.differencesOnly — whether "show differences only" is on in the comparison view.
• subcities.includeAllianceScope — whether alliance buffs are included in Sub City comparisons.
• Comparison state held in memory for the current browser session (selected entities, tiers, specialties, replaces) — discarded when you close the tab unless the URL preserves it.
• A service-worker cache of the site's static assets (HTML, JS, CSS, icons) so the tool can load offline after your first visit. This is a copy of public assets only — no personal data is cached.

What is NOT collected

• No accounts, no sign-ups, no email addresses.
• No cookies.
• No tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.
• No advertising, no third-party advertising scripts.
• No server-side logging of personally identifiable information.

Standard hosting-platform request logs may exist at the infrastructure level (e.g. IP address, user-agent, requested path) for security and operational purposes. These are kept by the hosting provider, not by us, and are not used to profile visitors.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — aggregate, cookie-less analytics provided by our hosting platform. These collect:

• Page views (which URL paths are visited, how often, total visits per page).
• Coarse-grained referrer (where visitors came from — e.g. "google.com", not the full referring URL).
• Browser, operating system, and device-type categories (e.g. "Chrome on macOS, desktop").
• Country-level location, derived from your IP address by the platform.
• Web Vitals — anonymous performance measurements (page load time, interactivity, layout stability).

Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not store your IP address. The data is aggregate and anonymous, and is used only to understand which parts of the tool are useful and how it performs in the real world.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel and served from their global CDN. Vercel's infrastructure logging and the Vercel Analytics service described above apply. See Vercel's privacy policy for their full disclosure. No other third-party service receives data from this site.

Children

This site does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this notice changes — for example when analytics, accounts, or any server-side data storage is introduced — the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change, and material changes will be noted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
