Evony Comparator is a side-by-side comparison tool for Sub Cities and Generals in Evony. It helps players see how upgrades, role replacements, and specialty choices change their combat and economy buffs — before they commit resources.

What it does

• Sub Cities: compare any two cities at any upgrade tier and see the net change to each combat and economy buff, with scenario filters (attack / rally / defense / reinforce / city defense).
• Generals: same idea — pick two generals, optionally a "replaces" general per side (the role-holder you're upgrading from), and see the net delta after specialty caps.
• Shareable URLs: every comparison state lives in the URL so you can paste it into Discord or save it as a bookmark.

Who built it

Built by Inf8 — a personal tool for planning Evony upgrades. The catalog data is extracted from the game manually and updated periodically.

Technology

React 19, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS v4, Zustand, react-router. The comparison engine in src/core/ is a pure TypeScript library — the two apps (Sub Cities, Generals) are thin UIs over the same engine.
